It all started with a gentle request: “Could you make something that sings when the wind stirs?”

A family reached out to us in search of a custom wind chime, something special that goes beyond just decoration. They envisioned a piece that could capture their cherished memories, evoke a sense of calm, and harmonize with the gentle flow of their deck, where summer evenings are filled with laughter and the delightful scents of the garden.

We started with beautifully sourced clay, lovingly shaped by hand into delicate forms that draw inspiration from river stones and coastal shells. Each piece is glazed in soft, earthy tones like seafoam, driftwood gray, and warm terracotta, and strung with natural fiber cord to maintain its organic simplicity. No two pieces are exactly alike, just like the wonderful family they were made for.

As the wind flows by, the chime creates a lovely, melodic clinking that’s perfectly balanced, neither too sharp nor too dull. It’s a sound that evokes memories of a gentle tide or the joyful laughter of a child playing by the dock. Now, while the family comes together for dinner or watches a storm approach from afar, the wind chime softly sings its comforting tune, encouraging everyone to pause, take a breath, and truly savor the moment.
