Customer Spotlight on a Clever Repurpose
At Chester River Pottery, we absolutely love seeing how our handmade pieces spark creativity in so many different ways beyond the kitchen—and today’s story just might be our favorite example yet!
One of our wonderful longtime customers, Robert Henry, recently shared a delightful photo from her sewing room! While our ceramic chicken nugget trays are typically used for just that (nuggets, sauces, and small bites), Robert had a lovely idea. With a fantastic eye for vintage charm and functionality, she transformed our tray into a beautifully stylish and practical organizer for her antique Singer sewing machine setup.
In her cozy workspace, the lovely blush-toned nugget tray now cradles an oiling bottle in a charming pink dish, adding both warmth and functionality to the room. It proudly rests atop a crisp white Kobalt tool chest, right next to a delightful vintage miniature sewing machine display—showing how a little ceramic artistry can beautifully blend vintage nostalgia with modern organization.
It’s truly wonderful to see our pieces being used in such unexpected ways! Robert’s sewing corner perfectly highlights that creativity knows no boundaries; it can be found everywhere, in every delightful detail.
